The PTPA is a proud member of The Northeastern Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance (NEPTA) is an organization connecting and supporting the participating community theatres across Northeastern PA. The organization hosts an annual awards ceremony in the spring that highlights and honors the best of the best in community theatre the previous year. The categories mirror those of the Tony Awards, including Best Actor and Actress in a Play, or Musical, and many more.
Even more importantly, NEPTA grants yearly scholarships to high school graduates looking to pursue a degree in the arts. We are fortunate that many PTPA youth throughout the years have been recipients of these scholarships and are proud to be part of this regional organization that supports inter-theatre cooperation and the success of our up-and-coming performers and craftspeople in the arts!
